20 minute off the Twizel/Omarama highway is the doorstep to this unique alpine wilderness area. On the shores of Lake Ohau and in view of Mt Cook and the dominant Glen Mary Glacier, the Lake Ohau Lodge caters for 150 guests. The Ohau native beech forests, snow fed mountain rivers and streams have an extensive network of tracks for the gentle walker, tramper and fisherman.
